Pushpa part 1 starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar premiered in Russian movie theaters on December 8. Box office experts believe that the film will generate a market of more than 700 crores in India. The Icon Star and the Pushpa part 1 crew traveled to the country to promote the film. All the film unit members went to Russia and did special promotions there. TV interviews, radio interviews, and more promotional activities were done.

The conflict in Pushpa 2 centers around Pushparaj’s character and his formidable foe, SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil.
