RRR Japan Box Office: The box office for SS Rajamouli’s RRR is exploding in Japan. Since the film’s October premiere, RRR has been a box-office success in Japan. In Japan, the film has now passed another key milestone and it got worldwide recognition.

RRR, a historical drama directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, was released in March of this year and grossed a lot of money at the box office. RRR was launched on the 21st of this month in 209 theatres and 31 IMAX screens in 44 places in Japan. In Japan, this is a major release for an Indian film. In terms of Indian films, Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Muthu’ grossed 400 million Japanese yen over its whole run. 22 crores in Indian rupees. The picture was only shown in a few cinemas, although it ran for a year. The RRR film has surpassed Muthu’s collection (400 million yen in Japanese currency) and is currently the top grosser. The gross is more than 24 Cr in Indian rupees.
