Virupaksha Movie Story

The narrative is set in the 1990s and takes place in a village named Rudravanam. Surya (Sai Dhara Tej) along with his mother take a visit to their ancestral village which is located in the midst of the jungle.

The village chief’s daughter, Nandini (Samyuktha Menon), captures Surya’s heart. When things are going well suddenly numerous fatalities occurred in the village around the same period, and many people believe that black magic and other supernatural forces were involved.

What’s the cause of all these deaths? How will Surya solve the issue? The movie has all the answers.

Now let’s get into the Virupaksha movie rating analysis.

Artist Performances

Sai Dharam Tej performed a good job and adequately defended his performance in the capacity of the village detective. Although his part is quiet in the first half of the film, the huge actor exhibits a great deal of maturity in his portrayal.

An unexpected element in this film is Samyuktha Menon’s performance as Nandini. She portrayed the rural girl character with the utmost sincerity, and the movie offers the actress plenty of opportunities to show off her acting skills. She seizes the chance.

The movie also features Sai Chand, Ajay, Sunil, Brahmaji, Kamal Kamaraju, and Shyamala.  The character of the typical father was performed by Rajeev Kanakala.

Technical Points

Ajaneesh Loknath composed a thrilling background soundtrack for Virupaksha, which also has great cinematography by Shamdat. The production values must be commendable. The editing is too good.

Karthik Dandu, the director, did a wonderful job. It’s incredible how deeply he wrote the narrative and how he presented it. The climax and second half though can be done better.

By retaining the flow and without destroying the audience’s curiosity, Sumukar’s narrative and script benefited the movie. It is added advantage to the film which needs to be mentioned in the Virupaksha Telugu movie review.

Plus Points

The filmmaker takes little time in laying up the scenario, which makes for an intriguing start to the film. Involvement in the proceedings would begin with the very first frame. Except for the love tune, the first half is good.

Karthik Dandu begins the narrative in a compelling and fascinating design with the events of the 1980s, and he keeps up this style as he describes the events of the 1990s.

The audience was properly impressed by the pre-climax and the interval bang, which prepared them for the second half.

The excellent background music lifts the action sequences.

The climactic scenes and the twist that followed were effectively portrayed.

Minus Points

One would naturally anticipate that the second half would continue the momentum from the extremely strong first half, yet this portion falls short.

The majority of the action in the narrative occurs at night and in a forest.

Given that the romance moments slowed down the pace in the first half, Navin Nooli’s editing may have been better. A similar issue appeared in a few moments in the second half.

Conclusion

Overall, Virupaksha is a technically excellent and engrossing supernatural thriller. The first half of the film does a decent job of piquing interest, while the second half keeps viewers interested with some clever plot twists at the finish.

Another significant strength of the film is its narrative, and when taken together, these factors make Virupaksha an absolute joy to see on the big screen.
