Veera Simha Reddy Movie Story

Before going into the Veere Simha Reddy movie rating let us know a bit about its story.

Jai Simha Reddy (Balakrishna) is the adoring son of his mother Meenakshi (Honey Rose), who owns a restaurant in Istanbul, Turkey. He falls in love with Eesha (Shruti Haasan), the daughter of businessman Jayaram (Murali Sharma). They both decide to get married.

The rest of the narration is about why his mother hides his father, Veera Simha reddy’s identity from him and what it has to do with Musali Madugu Pratap Reddy and his wife Banumati (Varalaxmi Sarathkumar). After hearing his father’s backstory, what would Jai (Balakrishna) do?

Veera Simha Reddy Plus points

  • As Veera Simha Reddy, Balayya entertains audiences. Balayya is a wonderful complement to Veera Simha Reddy’s character from his black outfit to his posture with desi cigars. The second Balakrishna in the character of Jai is unfinished and needs a stand.
  • Coming to the Veera Simha Reddy Cast and crew performances, The female lead was performed by Shruti Haasan. She is stunning and provided enough beauty treats on screen in the songs. Honey Rose, a Malayalee actress who made her debut as Balakrishna’s wife, had a strong performance.
  • Varalakshmi Sarathkumar’s gorgeous and intense emotions captivated the show. Her screen presence was outstanding, and she acted well during the pre-climax.
  • The first half of the screenplay is lively, and the filmmaker does an excellent job of designing each and every character. With this picture, Gopichand proves that he can also direct a straight-up action film.
  • BGM is a major asset while talking about Veera Simha Reddy Telugu Movie review. The songs and background score are both excellent. Ram and Lakshman once again demonstrated their ability to create stunts that keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
  • The actions are brilliantly choreographed, although, for the most part, Balakrishna does identical stunts throughout the film.

Veera Simha Reddy Minus points

  • The first half’s intermission twist weakened the film’s speed, and the whole second half, although laden with emotions, failed to take off to the next level. The appearance of Balakrishna raises the excitement levels towards the climax, and the film concludes in a regular and tedious manner.
  • The emotions in the second half are difficult to connect with.
  • By duplicating the previous film’s moments, the director attempted to emulate Balayya’s hit flicks directed by Boyapati Srinu.
  • Most of the sequences in the second half, particularly in the flashback episode, should have been cut.
  • Shruti Haasan appears just in songs and a few sequences. She is a good dancer, but the director could have given her more scenes, at least in the second part.
  • Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has a substantial part in this film; however, her older appearance is unimpressive.

Technical Aspects

Let us discuss technical aspects in Veera Simha Reddy Telugu Movie review. The visuals and fighting are on track. However, the script and production are where the film falls short. A couple of elevation sequences and strong discussion scenes worked quite well.

Whistles were heard in cinemas during the ‘Pub’ and ‘Pogaru in DNA’ conversations, among others. The background music is loud and only sometimes outstanding. The tunes are all pure mass.   The lengthy run duration is a major minus point. Editing might have been improved.

Conclusion

The direction stuck to the same template and did not experiment with any alterations. Overall, Veera Simha Reddy provided nothing novel and instead provided standard fare.

People are perplexed as to why Balakrishna continues to produce mass masala entertainment. Veera Simha reddy is what you expect from Balakrishna.
