18 Pages Movie Story

Before going into the 18 Pages movie review let us know a bit about its story. Siddhu (Nikhil Siddharth) is an IT employee who has recently broken up. He discovers an old journal written by Nandini (Anupama Parameswaran) and gradually falls in love with her. Siddhu found nothing in Nandini’s diary after 18 pages and wants to learn more about her.

Siddhu discovers many things about Nandhini, and when he attempts to see her, a major plot twist occurs. Who is Nidhi? What happens to Nidhi? Will they meet each other? You will get answers to these questions by watching the film. Let us get into 18 pages movie review.

18 Pages Movie Plus points:

  • 18 Pages is about a boy who falls in love with a girl through her journal without ever meeting her.
  • Even though they don’t meet till the end, one can sense the spark between Nikhil and Anupama. The writing is well-balanced, with equal parts joy and affection. The plot is driven by songs, which are well-placed and have profound lyrics.
  • Talking about the performances of the 18 Pages movie cast, Nikhil delivered an outstanding performance as Siddharth. In certain ways, he found it easy to care for this character. And Anupama Parameswaran is fantastic as Nandini.
  • The first half is created in a light and straightforward style, including nice comedic elements. The conclusion is once again nice and uncomplicated, which works beautifully.
  • Similarly, Bigg Boss fame bold woman Sarayu played a role that was less than her image and scored good marks. The character of the doctor played by Dinesh Tej was presented in a dramatic manner and created curiosity in the audience.

18 Pages Movie Minus points

  • While the first half is appealing and full of lovely moments, the graph plummets in the second half. The pace is languid here, and the moments are lackluster. Naturally, one anticipates a strong second half, but the outcome is unimpressive.
  • Surya Pratap, the director, did a competent but unimpressive job. He should have given the fundamental issue greater treatment with stronger scenarios to make it more relevant.
  • The main minus point while talking about 18 Pages movie review is, much logic is missing.

Technical Aspects

Among the technical experts in 18 pages movie review, Vasant’s cinematography is the main one to talk about. Each frame is displayed beautifully on the screen. Gopi Sundar’s background songs are good. Especially the song ‘Nannayya Prasi’ is impressive.

Narrator Sukumar and director Surya Pratap should be commended for the way Nandini has portrayed the role of an ideal young woman in these days when heroines are shown as puppets on the screen. The punch dialogues that came from Sarayu’s mouth also impressed the youth.

A concluding note on 18 pages movie review is if you are free this weekend then give it a try. Keep your expectations low so that you can enjoy the film.

Overall, “18 Pages” barely succeeds on occasion; the drama is disappointing, and the love narrative falls flat. There are some decent songs, and the first half is quite good, but it doesn’t feel very current
